Geoplast Project

New housing development next to Wembley Park Station, the project comprises of three blocks with an average of eight storeys – the columns were poured using the Geoplast plastic reusable formwork.

These former car parks at Wembley station were sold by Transport for London to Network Housing Group to provide new homes for Brent residents and for market sale.

The homes are being constructed to comply with the Lifetime Homes criteria, which can be easily adapted by residents to their changing needs as individuals and families.

Work is well underway with completion of the development estimated for spring 2015.

Benefits of using the Geoplast system are:

• Reusable – At least 100No pours, although customer feedback suggests >150No pours
• Lightweight – no need for a crane on site
• Resistant and tough, very good shock absorption
• Form-stable in a wide range of temperatures
• Has a fresh concrete pressure of up to 80 Kn/m2
